In this assigned project I created a number of pieces playing with the idea of utopia juxtaposed with dystopia. I created beautiful utopian worlds of perfection from porcelain finished with tints, with glass domes containing them, creating an unattainable world that is barred or glazed over. I also began to explore other ideas of perfection in conjunction with reality working with themes of artificial ideal beauty.
